Baking with Kids: Fall Sugar Cookies

It was a very rainy day today so we took advantage of the time inside by making some delicious Fall Sugar Cookies! We simply took our sugar cookie recipe and added some all-spice, nutmeg, and cloves (I was out of ginger or I’d have added that too). They turned out delicious and were so much fun to make!

Yes, there was some dumpage of the sprinkles! 😉 Totally my fault because I didn’t check to be sure the sprinkle top was on the shaker. But we just picked up the sprinkles and spread them more evenly about on the cookies.

Bird LOVED using the rolling pin to smoosh the dough!

Even the not-so-pretty ones  tasted great!

  1. I absolutely love your website.. Great colors and theme.
Did you make this website yourself? Please reply back as I’m trying to create my very own website and would like to find out where you got this from or just what the theme is called.
    Cheers!

    1. Thank you! I used WordPress as the base and just kept it very simple. The theme is Voltata–very easy to customize! Good luck with your website!
