Cream Cheese Mints
These delicious little treats are perfect for any holiday or tea party, and so simple to make!

Ingredients
1
8 oz
cream cheese
softened
1/4
tsp
peppermint or almond extract
3
c
powdered sugar
food coloring
(your choice of colors)
chocolate
(your choice of dark, semisweet, or milk)
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and extract. Beat in 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar. Knead in remaining powdered sugar until smooth.
Shape into 1/2 in. balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with a fork. OR Melt chocolate and drop into centers of balls.
Let stand in refrigerator for at least an hour to harden. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.
