Sewing Book (using old book pages!)

I’ve been collecting old books to do a variety of upcycle projects for some time now. This first one turned out great!

I started with:

  1. three-ring binder
  2. three-hole punch
  3. clear pencil pouch
  4. yarn
  5. laminated book pages. (LOVE my laminator!)

  1. Punch holes all along the outside of the book pages. You can then store the pages in the binder.
  2. I let my 3-year-old cut the yarn into more managaeable lengths and stored that in the pouch.
  3. Put it all together and you have an easy-to-transport quiet time sewing book!

You could do this with ANY old book pages and end up with a variety of sewing books.

Even my two-year-old figured out the sewing, though she enjoyed pulling the string back out more.

I’m excited to make more of these! What books would you try?
